Product Safety

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2023/988 of the European Parliament and of the Council on general product safety (GPSR), we provide the following information on the safety of our products.

All Versanis products are made of metal (steel wire or steel profile) coated with a durable powder coating resistant to corrosion and UV radiation.

1. General Information — All Products

The following safety guidelines apply to every product in our range.

Before First Use

Check that the product has not been damaged during transport.
Make sure all parts are complete as per the product description.
If you notice sharp edges or paint chips — do not use the product and contact us.

Intended Use

Each product is intended solely for the purpose described in the listing.
Do not exceed the product load capacity.
Do not modify the product construction.
Do not use the product as a ladder, structural support or toy.

Maintenance

Clean with a damp cloth. Do not use aggressive chemicals.
Store garden products in a dry place during winter.
Repair paint damage with anti-corrosion paint.

2. Metal Seating Furniture

Applies to: benches, stools, bar chairs, upholstered furniture with metal frame, shoe cabinets with seat.

Stability and Load Capacity

Place furniture on a flat, stable surface.
Maximum load: 120 kg per seat (unless otherwise stated).
Do not stand on the seat or backrest.
Do not rock on the chair or stool.

3. Standing Decorative and Functional Elements

Applies to: plant stands, coat racks, towel holders, umbrella stands, Christmas tree stands, wine racks, shelves.

Tip-Over Prevention

Place on a flat, stable surface.
Distribute weight evenly across all arms/shelves.
Do not load unevenly — this may cause tipping.
For plant stands: pots with plants and wet soil are heavy; do not exceed maximum load.

4. Garden — Ground-Mounted Elements

Applies to: plant supports (fans, ladders, pyramids, poles), pergolas, balcony planter brackets, garden hose holders.

Installation

Push supports firmly and vertically into the ground.
For hard soil: moisten the ground before installation.
Mount balcony brackets according to instructions.

5. Fire and Heat Products

Applies to: hunting grills, fire pits, tripods, fireplace tool sets, firewood baskets.

Fire Safety

Place only on non-flammable surfaces, at least 3 m from flammable materials.
Never leave fire unattended.
Use protective gloves.
Keep children away from heated products.

6. Sleds

Applies to: metal sleds with wooden seat.

Intended for sledding on gentle, obstacle-free slopes.
Children under 6 years — only under adult supervision.
Do not sled towards roads or obstacles.
Do not tow sleds behind motor vehicles.
