Industrial-style benches - find out which ones to choose!

Industrial-style benches - find out which ones to choose!

Industrial-style furniture and accessories - they are held in high regard. In the 1950s they won the hearts of many; today we are seeing a renewed fascination with them. Both among lovers of the raw industrial style and the slightly softened version of it, the loft style. As is well-known and emphasised at every opportunity, industrial style is all about raw details. Metal and wood are the main protagonists.

What role can an industrial-style coffee table play?

It should ideally be a combination of both functionality and aesthetic value. That is to say, on the one hand, we have a piece of furniture that serves us on a daily basis: where we meet loved ones, drink coffee, have online meetings, movie nights and perform a number of other activities. On the other hand, it is an integral part of the styling of a well-thought-out interior, which we try to maintain in a particular style, here specifically industrial. The coffee table draws attention, blends in with other accessories and pleases the eye of the household.

Industrial coffee tables - what kind?

First and foremost: combining metal and wooden elements, sometimes also glass. The austerity of these details is characteristic of this style, so it is impossible to confuse it with any other. A common suggestion is a wooden top, juxtaposed with metal legs. Or a glass top and metal legs. Metal is usually present here, without necessarily dominating - but undoubtedly drawing attention.

What are the main characteristics of industrial coffee tables? Visible to the naked eye here is the minimal human intervention. Looking at such a wooden table on metal legs - we get the impression that it is non-ideal, that a note of natural rawness has been retained, that it has something unique about it. At the same time, we are in no doubt as to its belonging to the style, it is immediately apparent.

Loft-style industrial coffee table

How about a bit of a twist and an industrial coffee table - put in loft style? Here we have a touch of modernism woven in, the softness of some elements - mixed with the austerity of others. Just imagine: characteristic metal and wooden coffee table, but set on a soft carpet in a pleasant soft shade, with a velour sofa right next to it, and all this bathed in natural light streaming in through the large windows.

When typing into a search engine: "industrial loft coffee table" we can find quite a few similar inspirations. Yes, such furniture is perfect for distinctive industrial interiors, nevertheless, it also fits in with loft ones and sometimes you can get the impression that this option is more popular.

Who is the industrial coffee table for?

Of course, for all fans of industrial and loft style. It is a wonderful detail that fits seamlessly into this rather specific type of interior. It can play a central role in the centre of a room, it can also provide a subtle backdrop or... become the first choice! Sometimes we like to start the metamorphosis of our interiors with small elements. The coffee table often becomes such an element. In love with this style, we reach for more and more. Gradually, we replace our existing furniture with new pieces that have character and industrial austerity. As we have said many times before: the industrial style is not only reserved for post-industrial lofts, there is also a place for it in townhouses and modern buildings!
